Personal Statement
George Alexiades, MD, FACS is an Associate Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology and is the Director of the Cochlear Implant Center at the Weill Cornell Medical College.
Dr. Alexiades is an Otologist/Neurotologist who specializes in diseases of the ear and is board-certified in Otolaryngology and Neurotology. Otology encompasses the treatment of diseases of the ear such as hearing loss, tinnitus, cholesteatoma, otosclerosis and chronic ear infections. Neurotology encompasses the treatment of diseases of the ear which relate to the skull base, such as acoustic neuromas, meningiomas and glomus tumors.
