Opera Frontier
Award-winning Opera Frontier is a small San Francisco Bay Area opera company that reimagines some of the most revered music in the Western canon. Their stage and film productions infuse familiar classical pieces with new joy when blended playfully with elements of dance, world music, circus arts, and contemporary beat. And they bring new meaning when repurposed to comment on contemporary social issues.

QuickHaven shares its designs and manufacturing processes for transitional shelters with communities and institutions that seek easily deployed, secure, long-lasting and re-usable solutions for unhoused populations.

New Leaf Ethiopia Foundation operates exclusively for the benefit of people who reside in Ethiopia. SADLY, NEW LEAF ETHIOPIA SUSPENDED OPERATIONS IN 2023 DUE TO CIVIL STRIFE. WE ARDENTLY PRAY FOR HEALING AND A RAPID RETURN TO PEACE.

GAIL SIMPSON, PhD is the President of the Board of Foundation for Good, where she supports projects that create awareness, foster solutions and/or encourage action that promote economic, social and environmental justice. She is an economist with almost 30 years of consulting and project management experience. Early in her career, she spent two years in Ethiopia working with international organizations on drought relief projects. After graduate school, she worked in management consulting, founded an INC 500 company and served as the Executive Director of a non-profit that promoted socially responsible investing.
Gail received her BA in Anthropology from Stanford University, and her doctorate from the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics, University of California, Berkeley.
DAVID ROBERTS, Board Treasurer David Roberts is the Founder and Managing Director of Focus Advisors. the industry’s leading M&A advisor. A serial entrepreneur, he is best known for co-founding Caliber Collision Centers — envisioning a more collaborative repair process across insurance companies, insureds, and repairers. By the time of its sale in 2008, Caliber was the world’s largest collision repair consolidator, a position it continues to hold today with more than $8 billion in sales.
David has served on the boards of both not-for-profits including Berkeley Playhouse as well as other private and public companies. He received his B.A. from Duke University and his MBA and JD from University of California, Berkeley. He is married to Gail Simpson.
